Discord's Terms of Service
Is it allowed?
The honest answer – and what you can do to keep your account safe.
On paper, no. In practice, using a client mod alone doesn't get accounts banned.
Discord's Terms of Service don't allow modifying the Discord app. That covers every client mod – Vencord, BetterDiscord and VoidCord alike. Discord doesn't scan for client mods, though, and there are no known bans just for using one.
What does get accounts in trouble is behavior: automating your account like a bot, spamming, or faking things towards Discord's servers. That's why every plugin carries a risk level, and every plugin except the Plugin Hub is off until you turn it on.
Four risk levels.
Every plugin has one. You decide how far you go – and the risk is yours.
This is our honest reading, not legal advice. Discord can change its terms or how it enforces them at any time.
Play it safe.
Stick to client-side plugins and you change nothing Discord's servers would notice.
